Day One

12 am AdEx Press Conference Alain, Catherine, Vincent, Greenfields Workshops (these will run concurrently from 3.30pm with the exception of AdEx which will run at 2.00pm as so many delegates attend this session)
2pm AdEx 2010 – The results presentation and discussion Alain, Catherine, Vincent, Greenfields Alain Heureux and Catherine Borrel of IAB Europe will be joined by research partners Screen Digest for a full review of the 2010 AdEx findings. Be amongst the first people to hear how online advertising performed in 2009 as the industry continued to face tough times. What markets are growing – which are maturing? For the first time we’ll be announcing mobile advertising results and figures from Russia. As this session was standing room only last year we advise you to get there early.
3.30 pm Social media and online branding Alain, Catherine, Vincent, Greenfields Following the successful session at Interact last year, we have invited Tom Smith of Global Web Index back to share latest findings and show how social media can positively impact branding. After a short presentation, we will share a case study of the social media effect in action. This is an interactive session and we hope you’ll be ready with questions and observations of your own experiences. Eric Urdahl of United Internet Media has been running IAB Europe’s online brand initiative will join also join the session.
3.30 pm Cookies, privacy and more: European legislation made simple Alain, Catherine, Vincent, Greenfields Kimon Zorbas who heads up IAB Europe’s Public Affairs team will take you through the most important and relevant legislation currently being discussed in Brussels. This session is a top line review of what is on the table, what impact it would have you on your business and how IAB Europe is working other trade bodies to represent and protect the interactive advertising industry. Kimon will focus on the big picture in this session to bring you bang up to date. Return from Barcelona ready to amaze your colleagues with your knowledge of proposed legislation.

Day Two

9.30 am Welcome from Alain Heureux, President and CEO IAB Europe Alain in this speech, (I will write for you), you can set the scene and the topic for the day using AdEx and MCDC data about why we need to discuss OBA).
9.45 pm Keynote Alain, Catherine, Vincent, Greenfields Advertiser from WFA (I think Microsoft/Google are the wrong companies to open this day. Let’s see who we can get) I suggest this is on how online brand advertising fits in their comms mix and how this might change. Any problems with it would be interesting (toplines) .
10.15 am Keynote Laurent Delaporte, Microsoft Advertising (I assume he is not from Trade Division?) I suggest this looks at the publisher perspective – what role do they take in promoting brand advertising rather than direct response. What split is direct response vs brand now and where does he see it going in the next two to three years?

11.00 am Panel discussion Opportunities and Challenges for Online Branding. Moderator: Guy Phillipson, Chairperson IAB Europe The session kicks off with a 10 minute pres from Vincent Letang of Screen Digest with results from exclusive survey of senior European advertisers Members: Agency/advertiser/Eyeblaster/Screen Digest (Google?)
12.00 am Keynote Darin Brown, CEO Razorfish.Some examples of online brand advertising campaigns from 2009/2010 and discussion on creativity and engagement on OBA
