Based in Brussels Thomas is Senior EU Policy Director at Microsoft Europe. Thomas is responsible for driving Microsoft’s public policy engagement and outreach to the EU institutions and European elites in matters related to the new Internet economy, Web 2.0 technologies, online advertising and telecommunications. Thomas joined Microsoft in August 2005 and represents Microsoft in various associations including WFA, the World Federation of Advertisers and serves on the board of IAB Europe. Thomas holds a degree in Political Science and has previously been employed in the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
